The Pittsburgh Steelers have no greater need than the center position.
And with a fairly robust market following the release of some veterans, Pittsburgh was hoping to have their pick of the litter regarding who would replace Mason Cole.
Turns out that won’t be the case:
Morse to Jacksonville

And while we likely will never know what Pittsburgh offered Morse, it makes sense that if it was even in the ballpark of the Jaguars’ offer, he would choose Jacksonville.
No state tax, better weather (sorry Yinzers) and familiarity with Head Coach Doug Pederson likely were contributing factors to his decision, leaving the Steelers still searching for the most glaring need on offense.
