Michael Gallup‘s time with the Dallas Cowboys came to an end this offseason, as the end of the NFC East franchise elected to release him with a post-June 1 designation. But it appears as if the former Cowboy might not have to wait long before landing with his next team.
On Wednesday, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that Gallup ‘is scheduled to visit’ the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. The Ravens do have a void that needs to be filled at the wide receiver position after letting go of veteran Super Bowl-winning wide Odell Beckham Jr. With a post-June 1 designation as well.
Since being released by Dallas, Gallup has already visited with one other NFL franchise: the Carolina Panthers. However, unlike Mike Williams and his trip to New York to visit with the Jets, Gallup left Carolina without a deal in play.
The former Colorado State star tore his ACL in Week 17 of the 2021-22 season. Coming off of injury in 2022, he posted 39 receptions on 74 targets, totaling 424 yards and four touchdowns. He had a similar production this season. He played all 17 games with 34 catches, 418 yards and two touchdowns.
