The latest pump-up moment from Callahan came when he was talking about Treylon Burks.

“He’s really had a fantastic start to the offseason. I’ve been happy with what he’s done. He’s done a great job of learning and getting a bunch of different things down and I think he’s really stacked a handful of really good days together… I’m really optimistic about him contributing for us and I think he’s gone about it the right way.”

Treylon Burks injury: Doctor gives 'couple possibilities' for Titans WR from Vikings practice

Callahan said that Burks is going to do a little bit of everything in 2024, noting that he has the versatility to be used in a variety of ways. He said that it’s his job to find the things that Burks excels in and try to highlight those as much as possible.

A first-round pick in 2022, Burks hasn’t quite become the weapon that Titans fans were hoping for when they team drafted him. He had 444 receiving yards and one touchdown as a rookie and then only had 221 yards with no touchdowns during the 2023 season.

The hope is that bringing in an offensive-minded guy like Callahan will do wonders for Burks as he enters a critical third year in the league. Hearing that Callahan plans to use Burks in a variety of ways is an exciting thought, let’s just hope we see him ball out in 2024 and become a legitimate weapon for Will Levis.
